Updated Race Course Finalized

The new course for the 2011 Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon and Rex Healthcare Half Marathon has been finalized and certified. The course starts and finishes at N.C. State University's Bell Tower on Hillsborough Street. The Race Committee has retained most of the route from the previous years to continue to showcase the city's best features.

New Race Added!
The New & Observer Old Reliable 10K 

The Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon and Rex Healthcare Half Marathon is proud to partner with the News & Observer to continue the tradition of the Old Reliable 10K run. The News & Observer Old Reliable 10K has been added as a 2011 Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon and Rex Healthcare Half Marathon race-day event. It will set off at the same time and from the same start location as the marathon and half marathon. The new race keeps alive a 27-year News & Observer tradition and provides an exhilarating way to run a prestigious downtown 10K.
