Visit the official race website and check out our new, simplified registration process. Early entrants can register at reduced rates, so be sure to sign up early!

The 2010 race will start and finish on N.C. State University's Centennial Campus, and the race course will be the same as last year's event. It will include the race's signature run in downtown Raleigh—including Hillsborough Street, city center, and the State Capitol building—a trip past the campuses of Meredith College and N.C. State, plus the scenic trek inside Umstead Park.

The marathon and half marathon feature a combined cash purse of $23,000, in addition to commemorative awards and other giveaways.

Proceeds from this year's event benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Rex Healthcare Foundation.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rex Healthcare Foundation, and the Wounded Warrior Project logos Last year's City of Oaks Marathon and Rex Healthcare Half Marathon raised $40,000 for the three race beneficiaries, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rex Healthcare Foundation, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Race Committee was pleased to host nearly 3,500 participants for the 2009 event. We thank our generous sponsors and all the hearty race participants who braved the elements to join us in our efforts to support these organizations.
