Volunteers are still needed to help make the event a success.

Friends and family members can be a part of your race by volunteering with:

Course monitoring on race day

Shifts from 1 to 6 hours are available beginning at 6:30 a.m. on the morning of Nov. 2

Parking control

Two shifts are available on race day, Nov. 2:

  • 5:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
  • 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Packet pickup at the race expo

Two shifts on Friday, Oct. 31:

  • 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Two shifts on Saturday, Nov. 1:

  • 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • 2:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Finish area cleanup

  • 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 2

Post-race refreshments

Two shifts are available on Nov. 2:

  • 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
  • 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Baggage check

Two shifts are available on Nov. 2:

  • 5:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Volunteering is another way to help us support our beneficiaries, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rex Healthcare Foundation, Umstead Coalition, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Plus, all volunteers receive an official volunteer t-shirt, refreshments, and discount coupons redeemable at presenting sponsor Raleigh Running Outfitters.

Don't Forget! The Start and Finish Has Moved

Centennial Campus logoThe start and finish will be at a new location this year, N.C. State University's Centennial Campus, Main Campus Drive. Ample parking will be available. Check your race packet for specific parking instructions.

Be sure to arrive by 6:00 a.m. to ensure an on-time start.
